PNL Interactive Session Three: Gathering the Talent
March 9, 2006 2:00-3:30 PM, ET
Are you my partner? Partnerships begin with planning that includes identifying community needs and potential partners; success comes in determining the right partner mix that will achieve the project’s intended outcomes. This month’s Partnership for a Nation of Learners Interactive Session explored finding the “right match” between project and partners. The session included insight from veteran public broadcaster and teaming expert Mark Sachs. Project Access – a collaboration between the Frist Center for Visual Arts and the Nashville Public Library – was also featured with partnering perspectives from both organizations.

PNL Interactive Session Two: Recognizing the Need
February 7, 2006 1:00-2:30 PM, ET
Twelve months from now, what difference will your partnership have made? A program may be in in place, a partnership may be formalized. But what has changed in your community? What population has been reached and served? Assessing community needs is arguably the most important phase of the partnering process. Successful projects begin with an identified need and an intimate understanding of the targeted audience(s). This Interactive Session explores community needs by example. We will feature two successful projects that targeted a need and realized outcomes as a result of a collaborative effort.
